Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
\n\tA minimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in an Imports\/Shipping\/Clerk role within retail, FMCG, or logistics.
\n\tStrong knowledge of import documentation, statutory requirements, and customs regulations.
\n\tComputer literacy with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
\n\tExcellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
\n\tHigh attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nKey Responsibilities
\nAs an Imports Clerk, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tFiling & Document Control: Maintaining accurate and organized filing systems for supplier and statutory documentation.
\n\tSupplier Document Verification: Ensuring supplier invoices, certificates, permits, and supporting documents are correct and complete.
\n\tStatutory Documentation: Preparing and submitting documentation required by SARS, NRCS, ITAC, and other authorities.
\n\tInvoice Control: Requesting, receiving, printing, and processing supplier invoices with proof of payment.
\n\tShipment Registration: Registering shipments in internal systems and ensuring timely updates.
\n\tFinance & Operations Support: Providing reliable administrative assistance to Finance and Operations teams.
\n\tClaims Management: Preparing and submitting claims to suppliers and service providers, ensuring efficient resolution.<\/p>\n
