\tTo monitor findings from all legislatively required licenses, permits, surveys and reports, auditable, valid and compliant. Attend to all preparatory work for the LMP HSE Audits \u2013
\n\tISO 14001, 45001 ,IMS, ONE MAESTRO, MAESTRO Log, SMT, Construction Compliance Audits, Legal Compliance Audits, RSR, SRM+<\/p>\n
To provide comprehensive updates & statistical analysis (Trends) of the KPI Data for the Area of Responsibility including driving of action plan management for:<\/p>\n
\tRAMSES o INTELEX
\n\tCOMPLYWORKS o IZI Safety
\n\tTo ensure that all events and non-conformance\u2019s are investigated and reported as required by Group and Local Legislation and advise on corrective and preventive actions and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation.
\n\tTo ensure that all Events are investigated, and effective close out of recommendations.
\n\tTo recommend suspension of operational activities when justified, in consultation with Line Manager & Business.
\n\tTo roll out HSE related Initiatives as initiated by the HSE & EL Division, Logistics, Transport, and Integrity & Engineering Technical Teams.
\n\tTo monitor the implementation of the Integrity Management Approach, participate in testing of Safety Critical Barriers and provide feedback on progress.<\/p>\n
To ensure the constant reduction of Health and Safety liability claims and high level of safety and health performance by effective management of the business management systems and performance Indicators (KPI\u2019s) by:<\/p>\n
\tConducting self evaluation System Audits in line with the requirements of ONE MAESTRO & MAESTRO LOG. o Follow up on all audit findings
\n\tAttend the monthly HSE Meetings
\n\tAttend all HSE Management Review Meetings o Quarterly System Evaluations
\n\tDistribution Centre Inspections o 1 Emergency Drill per month
\n\tTask Analysis o HIRA
\n\tEngineering \u2013 HSE Contractor Performance Management
\n\tTo provide HSE Contractor Performance feedback on implementation of Project. Monitor Contractor improvement plans \u2013 Orange Contractors as per ICC audits HSE Project Management
\n\tPrevention Plan per Project
\n\tAnnual Prevention Plan per Maintenance Contractor o 1 Project Progress Meeting per Month
\n\tAttend at a minimum of 1 ICC Audit per Quarter
\n\tProviding Functional HSE support to the HSEQ Specialist & the Specialities Division Advising and training
\n\tTo manage continuous improvement of the Total South Africa HSEQ Management Systems and facilitate the safety culture within the Organization.
\n\tTo provide training & guidance to Site Principle Champions
\n\tTraining of LMP Staff on HSE Initiatives established for the LMP<\/p>\n
Technological Risk<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure the monitoring of Critical Barrier Program. To participate in the Testing of Critical Barriers
\n\tTo ensure that Procedures are aligned to Risk Management Philosophy of the TRA. To participate in the development of Downgraded Situations.
\n\tCarry out any other lawful and reasonable instruction by the HSE Specialist: Logistics and Specialties . Security
\n\tOversight and management of the Security Management System at Specialties and Logistics sites<\/p>\n
Candidate Profile
\nTo be success as an HSSE Practitioner you would need to possess the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Safety management \/ Occupational Health & Hygiene Management or engineering qualification Knowledge of Integrity management is an advantage
\n\tSuccessful completion of courses related to HSE Management Systems and Practices, and HSEQ legislation applicable to requirements
\n\tKnowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of HSE legislation and applicable charters.
\n\tEnglish is the working language
\n\tValid code 08 driver’s license.
