Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tResponsible to supervise and monitor the slots operation to ensure an exceptional guest experience on the slots floor in accordance with company standards and gaming regulations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\tShift Supervision
\n\tCompletes registers (e.g. unclaimed monies, key, radio, etc).
\n\tInteract and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.
\n\tSupervise staff appearance and floor appearance\/ functioning of equipment and systems for the outlet.
\n\tReport and resolve any issues experienced.
\n\tRegular tracking of business levels.
\n\tEnables GSAs on shift system.
\n\tSupervise the control of stock and operating equipment as per SOP for the outlet(e.g. numbered stationery, registers, voucher books, MVG cards, collateral, etc).
\n\tCompletes casino admin paperwork.
\n\tCompletes and forwards customer transaction reports.
\n\tCalculates and disburses discretionary\/ complimentary spend.
\n\tValidates and authorises jackpot payouts as required \/ limits.
\n\tIdentifies, investigates and resolves transactional errors and disputes.
\n\tFollows up on fault logging with Technical until resolution.<\/p>\n
People Supervision<\/p>\n
\tManages employees to ensure that staff uniform, hygiene and appearance is maintained.
\n\tIdentifies performance gaps. \u00a0Conduct coaching and on job training.
\n\tIdentifies and addresses misconduct issues.
\n\tKeeps records of coaching discussions.
\n\tConducts performance contracting, reviews and development.<\/p>\n
Delivered Customer Experience<\/p>\n
\tMonitor service standards and staff: to ensure all guests are treated with courtesy and respect at all times.
\n\tShift handover ensures that staff can provide customers with relevant service.
\n\tInteract and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.
\n\tReport on any issues experienced and solutions executed.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tInforms department \/ staff of information required to perform the duties and slots floor operation effectively.
\n\tCommunicates department\u2019s objectives, standards and operating procedures to internal and external service providers as per SLA.
\n\tCommunicates any special guest requirements or events to other relevant operating departments.
\n\tProvides feedback and reports back to management on the performance and challenges on the slots floor.<\/p>\n

\tAbility to work shifts that meet operational requirements.
\n\tWork in a smoking environment.
\n\tPhysical mobility to move around as per job requirements (including with the use of aids).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent national qualification in gaming operations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t1 year experience as a GSA or previous Supervisory experience preferably obtained in the gaming industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n
