\n\tYou’ll play a pivotal role in managing Project Product Introduction (PI) activities, ensuring reliability growth and achieving warranty closure. Day-to-day, you\u2019ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Quality teams, Engineering teams, and more), represent the PI function within the Project Core Team, and coordinate warranty activities, among other responsibilities.
\n\tYou\u2019ll specifically take care of managing the retrofit of the entire fleet to apply the latest Change Requests, but also support engineering solutions on the project.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll look to you for:<\/p>\n
\tLeading all applicable Product Introduction deliveries and activities as part of the Project Core Team
\n\tEnsuring implementation of PI processes and instructions within the project
\n\tManaging the full Project Warranty Work Package and related reviews
\n\tAchieving contractual reliability targets and warranty closure
\n\tCapturing field experience and feeding back to the project\/organization
\n\tEstablishing strategies for commissioning and warranty periods
\n\tManaging the PI testing team in Durban
\n\tCoordinating and resolving engineering technical issues with relevant teams
\n\tEnsuring adherence to Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and Customer EHS requirements<\/p>\n

\tPostgraduate degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering
\n\tProject management qualifications
\n\tExperience in project execution (technical\/industrial) \u2013 minimum 10 years in senior positions
\n\tTeam management experience \u2013 minimum 5 years
\n\tProduct knowledge and experience in field operations
\n\tKnowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS)
\n\tProblem-solving skills and data analytics
\n\tFamiliarity with EHS regulations and practices
\n\tProficiency in English
\n\tDesirable: Railway safety\/product liability knowledge, contract management experience, and quality\/audit skills<\/p>\n
