Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily operations of the hypermarket, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
\n\tLead, motivate, and manage a team of sales staff to achieve performance targets.
\n\tImplement and monitor sales strategies, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.
\n\tManage inventory levels, rotation, and merchandising standards.
\n\tEnsure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
\n\tAnalyse sales reports and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
\n\tHandle customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
\n\tCollaborate with suppliers, logistics, and finance teams to optimise store performance.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 10 years\u2019 experience in retail management, preferably in a hypermarket or large-format store.
\n\tProven leadership and team management skills.
\n\tStrong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service.
\n\tExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
\n\tProficiency in retail systems and reporting tools.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
\n\tMatric required; tertiary qualification in Retail Management or Business Administration is an advantage.<\/p>\n
