Training Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Overall Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Regional Training Manager is accountable for the development, implementation and roll out of training plans and requirements for new and current Nandocas in their allocated Region with the aim of supporting the adherence and maintenance of all applicable standards in Casas.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric \u2013 NQF level 4<br \/>\n\tTrain-the-trainer certification<br \/>\n\t4-5 years relevant training experience including facilitation, programme design, training event coordination, assessment practices, eLearning training methods, coaching and mentoring<br \/>\n\t1-2 years restaurant operations experience<br \/>\n\t1-2 years\u2019 experience leading and managing small teams in a matrix structure, including influencing others without direct reporting responsibilities<br \/>\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n<p>Detail Knowledge<\/p>\n<p>\tKnowledge of adult learning concepts, principles, practices and procedures (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of training industry standards (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of restaurant operations at management level (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tPresentation and facilitation skills (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tPeople management skills (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tCoaching and mentoring skills (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tTrain-the-trainer skills (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tData Analysis skills (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tAssessor skills (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tMicrosoft Office skills (Intermediate)<\/p>\n<p>Regional Training Support:<\/p>\n<p>\tConsult with regional operations teams to determine specific training needs for Nandoca groups<br \/>\n\tConduct thorough needs analysis and recommend appropriate training strategy for the region<br \/>\n\tDevelop straining plans and calendars aligned to the National L&amp;D calendar and framework<br \/>\n\tRegularly review and revise (where necessary) the regional training objectives to ensure alignment to business needs and regional objectives<br \/>\n\tAct as the Learning and Development partner in the region, by providing coaching and mentoring to the Management team on succession planning, training needs and training practices and methods<br \/>\n\tManage and coordinate training requirements of new Casa openings and revamps<br \/>\n\tReview, assess and sign off on new Casa openings and revamps, ensuring compliance with all relevant L&amp;D policies and practices<br \/>\n\tProvide input into the development of the regional training budget and monitor applicable areas of the budget throughout the year<br \/>\n\tProvide mentoring and coaching for Casas \/ Casa Management that are not performing<\/p>\n<p>Training Evaluation<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor, review and action feedback to enhance training activities where necessary<br \/>\n\tEnsure Casas are equipped to implement new product rollouts through the delivery of training against the Brand Plan<br \/>\n\tEnsure that Nandocas are up to date on their training cycles and take remedial action as required<br \/>\n\tProvide timely feedback to management on Nandoca attendance, participation and performance at relevant training sessions<br \/>\n\tEvaluate training assessment results and work performance post training to identify areas of improvement in training courses<br \/>\n\tFollow-up on training provided in the region, measuring and monitoring success through applicable business metrics<br \/>\n\tCompile regional training compliance\/ non-compliance reports for Regional Line Managers with recommendations<\/p>\n<p>Training Plan Implementation and Roll out:<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement the Regional training plan and calendar<br \/>\n\tConduct \u201ctrain the trainer&#8221; sessions to prepare Regional Line Managers and Patraos to provide training \/ learning<br \/>\n\tCreate an effective adult learning environment, adhering to established design processes, testing, evaluation and feedback to the region<br \/>\n\tProvide feedback on course assessments and evaluations<br \/>\n\tCorrelate proficiency and performance results post training and assessment where required<br \/>\n\tSchedule and arrange relevant training sessions in accordance with business needs and regional objectives, including tracking attendance and course completion<br \/>\n\tDevelop, manage and monitor training plans for all new Patraos and Assistant Patraos in line with standard programmes, including regular check-ins, sign-off and conducting\/facilitating one-on-one training in line with the programme<br \/>\n\tEnsure relevant technology and learning tools required to facilitate training are available and configured appropriately prior to all sessions<br \/>\n\tManage and monitor the regional Hatchlings, including pre-assessment, timely sign-off and escalating any non-compliance issues or general concerns with learners (level 3 and 4, External candidates)<\/p>\n<p>Employee Programme Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate and manage Regional Grillers Challenge Competition including applications, implementation, coaching and development<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and manage Grillers Challenge logistics against budget and timelines<br \/>\n\tCollate all scores for final selections<br \/>\n\tProvide support in the coordination and management of logistics for the National Grillers Competition<br \/>\n\tCollect, collate and update Franchise master data for Long Service awards<br \/>\n\tProvide support to Regional team with the planning and execution of annual Long Service Awards event<br \/>\n\tManage and monitor annual Climate Survey execution, including the management and monitoring of all logistics and support regions<br \/>\n\tFacilitate the onboarding of new managers and oversee the process at other levels<\/p>\n<p>Training Record Management via the Learning management system and Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date regional training records, including training assessment results<br \/>\n\tCompile monthly reports for submission to management and relevant stakeholders<br \/>\n\tAdminister all training-related invoicing to send for processing<br \/>\n\tTrack training interventions against the Workplace Skills Plan to ensure that targets set are met<br \/>\n\tReport on improved regional performance \/ business metrics as a result of training \/ coaching intervention<br \/>\n\tTrack and report on the number of successful Hatchlings placed retained<br \/>\n\tUpdate and maintain relevant Franchise Master data on the LMS (Signify)<\/p>\n<p>People Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tSubmit people requirements in accordance with expected deliverables to your Line Manager (Quarterly)<br \/>\n\tManage the allocation of resources against budget and expected targets<br \/>\n\tLead the department in such a manner as to foster innovation and technological excellence.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate behaviour aligned to the company values<\/p>\n<p>Business Enablement through Training Innovation:<\/p>\n<p>\tRemain up to speed on the Company procedures, product changes and campaigns<br \/>\n\tEvaluate the relevance of training content to facilitate the achievement of performance objectives<br \/>\n\tConduct talent reviews, in collaboration with Regional HRBP and Regional Support team to ensure and maintain talent pools<\/p>\n<p>Training Material Development, Review and Testing:<\/p>\n<p>\tEvaluate training material to ensure quality, updated and relevant content for a relevant and positive learning experience
