As a CO+I Site Operations Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft&#8217;s online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Come and join us in CO+I and be at the forefront of the action!<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years\u2019 experience of mission-critical service management (e.g., providing IT services, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, military, or managing physical operations in an IT and\/or critical environment infrastructure)<\/p>\n<p>Background Check Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and\/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire\/transfer and every two years thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>\t5+ years\u2019 experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) AND 5+ years\u2019 experience working in physical IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack\/Enclosures, structured cabling) AND Experience managing budget $500k+.<br \/>\n\tBachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Telecommunications, Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.<br \/>\n\t3+ years\u2019 experience in leading a diverse, technical team.<br \/>\n\tApplicable certifications: ASICS\/Inventory Control, CompTIA, Microsoft, Network Certifications, CCNA Certifications, ITIL v3 Foundation, Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Certifications, Leadership Development Certifications, PMP, CDCP Enterprise-level experience in managing large-scale and complex projects\/programs<br \/>\n\tResponsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring.<br \/>\n\tLive our culture, embody our values, and practice our leadership principles.<br \/>\n\tDefine team objectives and outcomes, enable success across boundaries, and help the team adapt and learn.<br \/>\n\tAttract and retain great people, know everyone\u2019s capabilities and aspirations, and invest in the growth of others.<br \/>\n\tOversee and coach a team on the operation of various systems and equipment within the data center in a safe and professional manner and advise junior colleagues on inspection and supervision issues.<\/p>\n<p>Data Center Operations<\/p>\n<p>\tDocument and drive alignment on dependencies, supplier contracts, success metrics, resource readiness, operational, supportability, and manageability criteria.<br \/>\n\tReview Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Objectives &amp; Key Results (OKRs) and provide input to improve or increase efficiency across IT services.<br \/>\n\tDrive accountability with building landlord to adhere to MSFT service-level agreement.<br \/>\n\tPartner cross-functionally to support global and regional initiatives (e.g., environmental health and safety, risk assessments, certifications).<br \/>\n\tManages\/supports alignment to budget of the Data Center and makes tradeoff decisions to adhere to sound fiscal practices.<br \/>\n\tSupport budget planning and forecasting demand costs, driving awareness among business leaders on implications of service management issues and negotiating to win resources of costs, risks, and team leads as required.<br \/>\n\tPlan and work with business partners when executing their requirements to maintain adherence to datacenter availability, safety, and security.<br \/>\n\tFollow and adhere to run book provided by Environmental Health &amp;
