PRIMARY PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tTo be responsible for aspects of External Sales development and growth in the Inbound market (internally within Wilderness and externally to the markets), with specific focus on 2nd tie wholesale. Ensure 2nd tier wholesale grows in account recruitment and financial market performance.<\/p>\n
Detailed Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tEngage and actively contribute to strategic meetings and development sessions
\n\tDrive the implementation of sales strategies with a focus on innovation and growth
\n\tManage all sales activities relating to identified and assigned 2nd tier wholesale trade partners.
\n\tEvaluate current business operations and future prospects to establish a sustainable and robust business foundation.
\n\tRepresent the Company at Trade Shows and International Sales trips
\n\tDevelop specials and facilitate required distribution.
\n\tAdminister rate allocations for trade partners based on annual forecasts.
\n\tAssist in annual forecasts for budgeted company bed-night.
\n\tCollaborate and work closely with internal teams providing feedback and\/or opportunities for process improvements.
\n\tEnsure all documentation complies with organisational standards and policies.<\/p>\n
CANDIDATE PROFILE
\nQualification:<\/p>\n
\tMatric with Mathematics
\n\tTertiary qualification in Sales\/Marketing or Travel & Tourism an advantage<\/p>\n
Experience: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5 years sales and marketing experience
\n\tPrevious management\/development of a brand will be an advantage.
\n\tAccountability for financial results
\n\tExperience in handling trade relationships
\n\tLocal and International sales experience and \/ or qualifications.
\n\tWorking knowledge of TourPlan, workbench and WISH or similar booking\/ operation system an advantage<\/p>\n

\tExcellent interpersonal skills,
\n\tAbility to motivate and mentor staff and trade partners.
\n\tAbility to assess international source markets

\n\tAbility to market and sell the products accurately and according to client requirements.
\n\tTeam worker with the ability to interface with a variety of departments and people.
\n\tExcellent communication skills
\n\tSelf-starter, highly motivated, accountable, persistent, astute, organised, methodical, accurate and analytical.
