WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE<\/p>\n
\tThe role supports the implementation of Quality Management Systems and hygiene protocols, promotes a zero-defect culture through the use of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) tools, and ensures uninterrupted testing and analysis of raw and packaging materials to maintain seamless production and packing operations.
\n\tCarryout online trouble shooting to identify product quality issues and generating of NCA\/D incidents in the event that quality defects are identified. Use QEWOs to drive RCAs.
\n\tCarry out monthly checks discarding retention samples that are older than the specified retention period plus one-month.
\n\tMaintain an environment of 5s within retention storage area.
\n\tRetrieval of samples from retention location and setting-up against Customer complaint sample and preparing all the necessary forms for evaluation.
\n\tEvaluating customer complaints against standards and completing evaluation documentation.
\n\tPrepare and write reports for consumer services team regarding investigated complaints
\n\tLead problem solving kaizens derived from Q prioritization matrix to obtain zero defects
\n\tValidate processes and procedures and recommend corrective action where required
\n\tConducts analysis of development samples and consumer complaint samples and recommends changes to processes.
\n\tCo-ordinate trouble shooting for defective packaging material effecting production, raise SNCRs and follow up with supplier using 8 stages of incoming goods
\n\tConduct internal audits and drive closure of internal audits findings for respective units
\n\tEnsure that proactive approach is taken towards Quality or Food safety gaps
\n\tLanding Innovation in factory for quality\/Food safety aspects.
\n\tSetting up and supporting SAP QM for new and current material
\n\tPackaging material analysis and approval of material
\n\tWeekly verification of quality critical instruments in the packing hall
\n\tParticipate in taste panels as approved testers and make decisions on status of products in terms of acceptance or rejection. (Mandatory that person does not smoke due to the negative effect this has on sensory evaluation which is a key component of the job)
\n\tMember of the food safety & HACCP team<\/p>\n
Administrative Activities<\/p>\n
\tGenerating of NCA’s, SNCRS, D incidents and QEWOs
\n\tWeekly\/Monthly reporting consumer\/customer complaints, SNCRs, D incidents, quality and UMS
\n\tKaizen review<\/p>\n

Experiences & Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDiploma OR BTech Food Tech \/ Biotechnology or an equivalent qualification.
\n\tKnowledge of SAP (Purchasing, Release and blockage of stock.)
\n\tUnderstanding HACCP requirements.
\n\tMinimum 1 years\u2019 experience in a working environment.
\n\tWorking Knowledge of PC Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
\n\tFully Operational in WC\/Continues improvement QC tools
\n\tWorking Knowledge WCM\/ Continues improvement Q methodology
\n\tWorking Knowledge of Quality systems and food safety<\/p>\n
