\tAssist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS\u2122 equipment & Charging-up)
\n\tProvide information regarding Health & Safety of Enaex equipment to mine and Enaex employees.
\n\tAssist mine personnel on on-the-job training (Technical support on DDS\u2122 equipment & Charging-up)
\n\tAssist Service Technician in maintenance of DDS\u2122 Equipment
\n\tDensity checks and records
\n\tDay to day inspections and minor repairs on DDS\u2122 equipment
\n\tOversee mine trained employee to do daily checklist. Mine employee to hand checklist to his mine supervisor.
\n\tFirst responder to breakdowns (All minor issues on shift)
\n\tReporting on levels of DDS\u2122 emulsions and delivery dates for emulsion
\n\tOffloading of the DDS \u2122 delivery tanker & weighbridge notes sign
\n\tReporting on spares used and stock level to Service Technician
\n\tReport of spillages to mine personnel to arrange for clean-up
\n\tReport status of good housekeeping around silos to mine.
\n\tDaily reporting of findings in underground workings to Section Mine Overseer \/ Shift boss \/ Miner with regards to\u00a0\u00a0– charging-up and drilling on the working areas he visited.
\n\tCommunication with service Technician on status of DDS\u2122 equipment.
\n\tBreakdown reports and feedback to M\/O , HFO , Service Technician
\n\tFollow up on recommendations and implementation of proposals
\n\tIdentify incorrect charging up practices
\n\tConduct blast surveys according to the designed criteria
\n\tDemonstrate the charging up and connecting of all Enaex explosives products
\n\tApply the use of the product as per the product application training
\n\tApply the safe handling, storage and transport of explosives
\n\tEnsure correct PPE is used, as well as that PPE is in good condition and correctly worn\/used
\n\tMaintain housekeeping of work area
\n\tIdentify workplace hazards and associated risks and deal with it appropriately (Hirac & Risk Assessment)
\n\tKnowledge of relevant hand tools
\n\tKnowledge of emergency procedures
\n\tComply with the Mine\u2019s safety and health procedures
\n\tAttend the mine\u2019s induction training
\n\tMaintain basic safety, health and environmental issues
\n\tAssess the product application practices
\n\tIdentify incorrect product application practices
\n\tDemonstrate and coach the correct practices
\n\tAdhere to Enaex code of practice and procedures
\n\tAdhere to mine Health & Safety requirements<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\u00a0
\n\tUnderground Blasting Assistant Certificate and Competent B for underground (Advantage)
\n\tBasic Computer skills
\n\tValid medical fitness certificate for UG Mines<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t2-3 years working experience in underground.<\/p>\n
