Main purpose of the job:<\/p>\n
\tTo manage the deployment of armed response vehicles and assist with responding to alarm activations as well as the operational functioning of a shift.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License (minimum 2years)
\n\tValid Firearm Competency (Business purposes)
\n\tPSIRA Registered Grade B with Armed Response
\n\tClear Criminal Record
\n\tComputer Literate (MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Email and Internet)<\/p>\n
DUTIES:<\/p>\n
\tHolding of inspection parades on a daily basis
\n\tAssess training requirements of shift on a monthly basis
\n\tAlways maintain a high level of discipline on the shift
\n\tAttend to all disciplinary actions as needed
\n\tPlanning of the shift leave\/on a leave chart for each
\n\tAssist the area manager with interviews of potential candidates for employment as requested
\n\tAdminister time sheets and overtime of personnel on a monthly basis
\n\tAdminister performance bonuses of personnel on a monthly basis
\n\tMerit assessment of all personnel on a cycle basis
\n\tRecommending of leave (Annual\/sick\/compassionate\/study as requested
\n\tGeneral well-being of all personnel at all times
\n\tTake full control and management over all the Hubs
\n\tAlways ensure the efficient planning and performance of these Hubs
\n\tAlways ensure that these Hubs are fully manned and operated
\n\tReporting of availability of vehicles to Area Manager and Fleet Controller on a daily
\n\tPlanning of services, routine maintenance, etc. on an on-going basis
\n\tReporting of all defects on vehicles to Fleet Manager\/Area Manager on a weekly basis
\n\tImmediate completion and handing in of all MVA forms
\n\tAlways ensure that the vehicles are clean at every shift
\n\tKeep control over and recording of all firearms on a daily basis
\n\tAlways ensure that the firearm register is kept up to date<\/p>\n
