{"id":22788,"date":"2025-10-30T20:02:42","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T20:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/rtm-sales-manager-gauteng-rtd-main-market-channel-manager-demand-planning-manager-analytics-lead\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T15:07:59","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T15:07:59","slug":"rtm-sales-manager-gauteng-rtd-main-market-channel-manager-demand-planning-manager-analytics-lead","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=22788","title":{"rendered":"RTM Sales Manager: Gauteng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            RTD Main Market Channel Manager \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Demand Planning Manager &amp; Analytics Lead"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose of Role<\/p>\n<p>\tTo drive Volume, NSV and Market share growth through Diageo SA\u2019s Route to Market partners, manage and monitor the Pricing, Availability and Distribution and Visibility of Diageo brands through Diageo SA\u2019s 3rd Party Partners as well as building relationships with the 3rd party partners while ensuring they comply with all of Diageo\u2019s CARM and GAR policies.<\/p>\n<p>Top Accountabilities<\/p>\n<p>Operational<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop Strategic plans and budgets for all Route to Market Partners which meets area guidelines and objectives.<br \/>\n\tCascade the Diageo SA strategic objectives into the Route to Market Partners to ensure \u201cline of sight\u201d or alignment.<br \/>\n\tLead the development of brands through trade marketing activities aligned the Diageo SA cycle plan, to achieve targets in terms of volume, market share and value.<br \/>\n\tIdentify business risks related to the Route to Market Partners and area, develop contingency plans to address them (opposition, AIT, Macro\/Micro-Environment).<br \/>\n\tDevelop business cases for pricing, distribution expansion initiatives and other project to drive achievement of AOP.<br \/>\n\tCall-age on all assigned RTMPs (min 5 calls per day) to negotiate and influence orders, or take opportunities based on market intel.<br \/>\n\tConduct monthly RTMPs reviews \u2013 scorecard and data driven.<br \/>\n\tMonthly Execution measurement to be conducted in market area driven by a scorecard across all channels.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tCommunicate and translate the Leadership standards into a \u201cway of living\u201d that inspires enthusiasm and commitment<br \/>\n\tEstablish clear goals consistent with Leadership standards, as well as clear roles and responsibilities for RTMPs.<br \/>\n\tEmpower and support team to drive high performance.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate high commitment to personal and team development allocating meaningful time and resources.<br \/>\n\tRTMPs meetings and reviews held monthly<br \/>\n\tTo develop and roll out training material\/requirements to Route to Market Partners<\/p>\n<p>Management<\/p>\n<p>\tMobilize resources to realize company AOP and Mission.<br \/>\n\tEnsure regular monitoring of AOP and Mission.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the implementation of common platforms and best practices in line with Diageo SA standards.<br \/>\n\tEnsure effectiveness of controls over business processes and integrate Audit function as a real business partner. (CARM and GAR Compliancy through the line)<br \/>\n\tEstablish adequate security standards in order to protect company assets at the Route to Market Partners.<br \/>\n\tLead and control the internal environment of the company in accordance with Company Policies and in order to minimize business risks.<br \/>\n\tDrive overall implementation of cycle plan in a timely manner. Take ownership of the OTIF of implementation of a cycle plan.<br \/>\n\tEnsure timeous and accurate reports of opposition, illicit, market trends, volume trends and other market information on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis.<br \/>\n\tCo-ordinate 3rd party of installation of POS in store by managing timelines of the customer and the supplier.<br \/>\n\tManage, monitor and measure RTMPs against global SHE policies. Reporting to be done annually.<\/p>\n<p>Relationships<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild a company corporate image whilst operating to the highest standards of business ethics, environmental, health and safety.<br \/>\n\tDevelop cross functional culture and support interaction across all levels of the company.<br \/>\n\tCreate sustainable investment contracts for business partners to strengthen the relationship.<br \/>\n\tManage Account relationships with the RTMPs. Aim to be their number 1 valued business partner.<\/p>\n<p>Innovation<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive at least one innovation to implementation per quarter outside the innovation calendar.
