\tRelevant tertiary qualification BCom Accounting
\n\tFAIS compliant
\n\tRelated Insurance qualification (NQF4)<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 years\u2019 experience in client services and operations within an insurance services environment
\n\t5 years business management experience
\n\tKnowledge and experience of the financial services or insurance industry
\n\tCell Captive Insurance Model experience will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nDevelop Existing Portfolio of Clients<\/p>\n
\tDeveloping an ongoing prospect pipeline through liaison within the greater business, client relationship.
\n\tUsing financial acumen to interpret financial statements, actuarial data and ability to deal with budgets
\n\tDeveloping Guardrisk image and presence.
\n\tIdentifying opportunities to maintain and grow the portfolio.
\n\tConducting meetings with clients and discussing pertinent business risks and develop\/enhance solutions accordingly.
\n\tDistributing and discussing statistical information.
\n\tChecking and forwarding financial statements to clients.
\n\tDesigning and preparing status reports.
\n\tProviding prompt authorisation of claim payments.
\n\tDealing with client queries.
\n\tRe-evaluating portfolio structures and servicing requirements on an ongoing basis relative to changing needs of the client.
\n\tEvaluating client\u2019s needs and requirements to enhance cross selling of other Guardrisk products.
\n\tParticipating in renewal process with broker\/client.
\n\tEnsuring all documentation pertaining to the insurance programme \/facility is in place.<\/p>\n
Develop New Prospects and Products<\/p>\n
\tAchieving a targeted annual new business budget.
\n\tCreating and maintaining business relationships to ensure new business growth of both income and clients.
\n\tDealing with Financial Managers, Financial Directors, Risk Managers at client EXCO level.
\n\tBuilding and maintaining relationships at client, and interdepartmental levels.
\n\tLiaising with Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial, Claims departments.
\n\tFinalising pricing, cost and income structure.
\n\tCo-ordinating documentation, role and responsibilities, agreements, system and legal requirements, processes and procedures.
\n\tCompiling and managing budget.
\n\tMarketing Guardrisk products and services.
\n\tFollowing up on inquiries and queries.
\n\tSourcing potential client and products.
\n\tComplying with new business take-on procedures.<\/p>\n
Conduct Client Reviews<\/p>\n
\tLiaising with the technical review teams.
\n\tAdvising technical review teams of all pertinent information prior to each review.
\n\tProviding input into the development of the annual review plan.
\n\tSetting up review meetings with clients in consultation with technical review teams.
\n\tDelivering completed review reports to clients and following up and tracking of the implementation of proposed actions.<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tMaintaining CSA (monthly) questions through the CURA Risk Management System
\n\tAttending monthly Operational meeting.
\n\tTravel to clients and\/or prospects where required.
\n\tAdministrating client files.
\n\tAssisting Executive with Divisional reporting and where required, provide the necessary support.
\n\tMaintaining monthly prospects list and report back on divisional issues.
\n\tMonthly budget review and reporting on variances and new business targets
\n\tTracking renewals for their portfolio.
\n\tMonthly reporting back to the Executive on the above-mentioned items.
\n\tManaging delivery against deadlines, i.e. budgets, forecasts, projects
\n\tWork closely with finance Executives to ensure all client financials are accurate and reinsurance is paid timeously.<\/p>\n
