With extremely knowledgeable Sales Specialists and Product Managers supported by Jupidex branches and our extensive dealer networks, Jupidex makes it their goal to provide a professional service to the farmers in Southern Africa.<br \/>\n\tThe following position has become available at Jupidex (Pty) Ltd: Sales Manager.<\/p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n<p>Team Development and Training:<\/p>\n<p>\tAttract, hire, and nurture a top-tier sales team, cultivating a culture focused on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.<br \/>\n\tOffer ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance the team\u2019s skill set and overall performance.<br \/>\n\tEstablish clear objectives and performance expectations, conducting regular assessments and providing constructive feedback.<br \/>\n\tTrack and evaluate sales team performance, delivering detailed reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Sales Forecasting and Budgeting:<\/p>\n<p>\tDesign and implement robust sales strategies to meet unit sales and revenue objectives.<br \/>\n\tEstablish and optimize processes and tools to drive sales efficiency and performance.<br \/>\n\tConduct detailed market analysis of agricultural activities to identify equipment needs and tailor solutions for each market segment.<br \/>\n\tStay updated on technological innovations in agricultural equipment and evaluate their potential to influence business growth.<br \/>\n\tCreate an annual sales budget with a focus on key product segments and market priorities.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and execute a sales plan aimed at achieving set unit, gross profit, and pricing per product (PxP) targets.<br \/>\n\tTrack performance against the sales budget, providing ongoing reporting and actionable insights to management.<br \/>\n\tAdapt sales strategies and plans in response to changing market dynamics and financial performance metrics.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the successful attainment of sales budget targets through proactive management and adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>Sales &amp; Marketing Actions:<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement targeted initiatives to promote the brand and products in designated regions, such as organizing study groups, farmer groups, demonstrations, and events with agricultural institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities.<br \/>\n\tProactively identify and initiate sales and marketing opportunities through continuous market analysis and identification of growth prospects.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring a competitive and readily available product portfolio.<br \/>\n\tExecute sales and marketing activities aligned with the overall strategic plan.<br \/>\n\tSupport dealers in forecasting sales growth within their Area of Responsibility (AOR).<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement contingency plans to mitigate the impact of economic fluctuations or unforeseen market disruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:<\/p>\n<p>\tEstablish and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant industry organizations, including suppliers, distributors, and service providers.<br \/>\n\tCollaborations with other Businesses such as Seed and other input providers.<br \/>\n\tExplore co-branding or collaboration opportunities with complementary businesses to enhance market reach and value proposition.<\/p>\n<p>Market Expansion:<\/p>\n<p>\tAssess and manage risks associated with market expansion, sales activities, and operational growth.<br \/>\n\tIdentify and capitalize on new market opportunities both domestically and across Africa.<br \/>\n\tFormulate strategies to penetrate emerging markets and broaden the company\u2019s presence in the agricultural equipment sector.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to customize product offerings and marketing approaches for new markets.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement a &#8220;Right Dealer&#8221; strategy and expansion plan within the markets worth winning (MWW).<br \/>\n\tBuild and enhance B2B channels through the development of operational capacity and capabilities.<br \/>\n\tEstablish and grow B2C channels by delivering a differentiated and exceptional customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Relationship Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tFoster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring continued collaboration and mutual benefit.<br \/>\n\tGuarantee dealer and customer satisfaction by addressing concerns quickly and always upholding high service standards.<br \/>\n\tDesign and implement loyalty programs and initiatives aimed at retaining existing dealers and customers and expanding the customer base.<\/p>\n<p>Administration:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop robust knowledge of all products in respective segment.<br \/>\n\tMonitor industry trends and competitor activities and provide feedback and insights to Suppliers based on customer and market needs.<br \/>\n\tTrack expenses in an organized fashion.<br \/>\n\tReport weekly\/monthly on the status of field marketing activities.<br \/>\n\tDocument and share lead\/customer intelligence with sales team.<br \/>\n\tOpen communication to Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n<p>Job Requirements<br \/>\nREQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<p>\tMin: Post-Matric Certificate\/Diploma.<br \/>\n\tIdeal: Degree in agriculture\/business\/marketing or a related field.<\/p>\n<p>Legal Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tMin: Driver\u2019s License, Passport and Police Clearance.<\/p>\n<p>Training:<\/p>\n<p>\tMin: Sales\/Marketing, Presentation Skills, Computer Skills.<br \/>\n\tIdeal: Sales\/Marketing, Presentation Skills, Computer Skills, Public Relations.<\/p>\n<p>Hazard &amp;
