Nature of appointment: Appointed on an hourly basis for specific semester and\/or year subjects (teaching, learning and assessment and related administration).<\/p>\n
Remuneration: The hourly rate of payment depends on the part-time lecturer\u2019s qualifications and experience.<\/p>\n

The format of lectures can be expected to be face-to-face, via remote teaching, or a combination\/hybrid format. Facilitation and assessment formats will be subject to change on short notice.<\/p>\n
\tLecturers will be expected to have their own laptop computer.
\n\tSuccessful applicants will be required to lecture on the relevant CUT campus and will be required to be available at the assigned subject\u2019s scheduled class hours, which may include work in the evening.<\/p>\n
Minimum and Desired Qualification\/ Knowledge and\/or Experience \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAn appropriate BTech \/ Honours, Master\u2019s or Doctorate degree (depending on the level of presentation) in IT, Computer Science or Information Systems.
\n\tPrevious lecturing experience will serve as a recommendation.
\n\tExperience with electronic education (Blackboard) is recommended.<\/p>\n
