\tTo manage and deliver an effective, secure and resilient Necsa Group\u2019s ICT Infrastructure<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
IT Infrastructure Management<\/p>\n
\tManage the provision of hardware and software systems ensuring maximum security, reliability, and availability.
\n\tDevelop and implement an ITC Infrastructure Strategy that is it is fit-for-purpose and will enable business performance.
\n\tDevelop an Asset Management Plan, and its Life Cycle (procurement, deployment, maintenance and disposal) in line with the corporate Asset Management Policies.
\n\tDevelop the information and technical enterprise architecture and ensure that it is in line with best practices.
\n\tDevelop and implement ICT Infrastructure standards, guidelines and operational procedures in line with best practices & legislative requirements.
\n\tDevelop and implement the digital transformation plan.
\n\tImplement a plan to enable the organisation to integrate and deliver new innovative business services through user-friendly and smart methodologies.
\n\tMaintain all documentation for deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and problem-resolution activities & licensing.
\n\tTransform and Consolidate the ICT Infrastructure Service to the point where it can deliver a single seamless quality service across the Group.
\n\tLiaise with other functional managers and stakeholders to align Infrastructure Services with other processes and promote collaborative teamwork.<\/p>\n
Project Management<\/p>\n
\tManage the implementation of ICT infrastructure projects.
\n\tEnsure that the projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the required quality requirements.
\n\tProvide meaningful support to the business and ensure that Information Technology is fully \u00a0leveraged as an enabler.
\n\tDevelop and manage a continuous service improvement plan for IT in relation to the current trends and ensure continuous improvement in the service delivered
\n\tEnsure that ICT Infrastructure, solutions and systems are sourced and available as and when required by the business.
\n\tEnsure Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity & Change controls are in place
\n\tMonitor & provide progress reports as well as period Reports on all matters of the portfolio<\/p>\n
Risk & Change Management<\/p>\n
\tManage & Monitor systems access, review event logs, and report all suspicious activities.
\n\tEnsure that a change control plan is implemented and that all processes are adhered to.
\n\tEnsure disaster recovery and business continuity for the Infrastructure Service.
\n\tImplement SHEQ requirements and ensure compliance.
\n\tEnsure implementation and closure of all ICT infrastructure audit findings.<\/p>\n
Financial Sustainability & Recovery<\/p>\n
\tCompile the ICT Infrastructure budget annually in line with business requirements and present it for approval by management,
\n\tManage infrastructure finance and procurement in line with IT Operational Plan against approved budget.
\n\tReport on it monthly so as to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
\n\tManage cost recoveries for services rendered to internal and external clients.<\/p>\n
People Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all staff is trained, skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied so as to ensure a positive and productive working environment with healthy staff morale.
\n\tGrow, mentor and upskill the team on technical and management skills.
\n\tCommunicate department goals and procedures to team members.
\n\tIdentify and resolve team conflict and eliminate challenges & obstacles affecting performance and morale.
\n\tCarry out ongoing personnel management exercises to measure the set output and deliverables in line with Necsa Performance Management (contract & policy).<\/p>\n

KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS<\/p>\n
\tBe able to coordinate the operations of an organization\u2019s IT infrastructure unit to achieve set objectives.
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of servers and networks and both hard and software & IT security.
\n\tUnderstanding of ICT governance frameworks and quality standards e.g. COBIT, ITIL & ISO standards.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tA National Diploma or Degree in IT related field
\n\t6-8 years\u2019 experience in an ICT environment of which three years should have been at the senior level with a proven track record of maintaining & maintaining ICT Infrastructure.<\/p>\n
