Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMust have completed Matric.
\n\tA Master\u2019s Degree Qualification in Agriculture\/Economics\/Commerce\/Business Administration\/Development Management Studies or relevant field of study. A valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5 years or more senior managerial working experience. Experience in the facilitation, developing and management of partnership agreements with various stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge and experience of financial, market\/price and risk analysis in the agricultural, agribusiness and food sectors.
\n\tKnowledge and experience in the formulation and implementation of agricultural\/agribusiness development strategies and approaches.
\n\tNetworking with stakeholders and report writing skills.
\n\tKnowledge of Government\u2019s land reform Programme and post transfer business processes.
\n\tProvide advice to the CEO and Board on key issues and make recommendations on business decisions. Extensive programme and project management experience.
\n\tKnowledge of relevant legal prescripts. Extensive networks within the agricultural, agribusiness and food sectors both nationally and internationally<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProvide leadership and support to staff to ensure effective management of the unit.
\n\tAbility to lead, plan and manage change.
\n\tConduct regular performance review of staff to encourage personal development.
\n\tStrong IT skills (generic applications, internal communications systems).
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tStrong problem solving and decision-making skills.
\n\tStrong analytical, policy and operational thinking skills.
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including report and memorandum writing skills as well as ability to clearly and accurately communicate technical information.
\n\tAbility to think conceptually and strategically.<\/p>\n
