Purpose of the Role<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant\/Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide efficient administrative support to the on-site management team while maintaining accurate inventory control for accommodation, laundry, and related services.<\/p>\n
Education and experience requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric).
\n\t2\u20133 years of relevant experience in administration or stock control.
\n\tProficient in MS Excel and general computer literacy.
\n\tStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.
\n\tClear communication skills (written & verbal).
\n\tA clear criminal record.
\n\tQualification in Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
\n\tPrevious experience in a remote site or hospitality environment.
\n\tKnowledge of Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
\n\tSelf-motivated and adaptable to change.<\/p>\n
Key areas of responsibility:<\/p>\n
Administration & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate and secure filing systems.
\n\tCapture and process financial and stock data in company systems.
\n\tPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, expenses, and consumption.
\n\tAssist with invoicing, reconciliations, and supplier queries.<\/p>\n
Stock Control & Inventory Management<\/p>\n
\tReceive, record, and issue stock in accordance with company procedures.
\n\tConduct regular stock counts and investigate variances.
\n\tMonitor and maintain stock levels to ensure timely replenishment.
\n\tSupport procurement and ensure all purchase orders are completed accurately.<\/p>\n
Team & Compliance Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport the camp supervisor and colleagues as needed.
\n\tEnsure adherence to company policies, H&S, and Food Safety standards.
\n\tAttend relevant training sessions and contribute to a positive team culture.<\/p>\n
