\tWe\u2019re looking for an experienced and driven\u00a0Maintenance Engineer\u00a0to deliver expert, cost-effective engineering support and maintenance services that ensure maximum plant availability \u2014 all within a safe, compliant, and high-performance environment.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tSHEQ Management:\u00a0Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and all SHEQ standards. Promote a safety-first culture through training, inspections, and adherence to ISO requirements.
\n\tPlant & Equipment Reliability:\u00a0Lead preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, reduce downtime, and drive root cause analyses for sustainable performance improvements.
\n\tMaintenance Planning & Execution:\u00a0Oversee long- and short-term maintenance planning, manage shutdowns, allocate resources, and ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively.
\n\tProject & Contractor Management:\u00a0Manage capital and renewal projects, define scope of work, assess contractors, and ensure delivery within timelines and budget.
\n\tBudget & Cost Control:\u00a0Contribute to and manage budgets, control expenditure, identify cost-saving initiatives, and ensure financial accountability across maintenance activities.
\n\tData & Systems Reporting:\u00a0Utilize SAP PM and maintenance dashboards to monitor equipment performance, ensure data accuracy, and provide regular reports to engineering leadership.
\n\tTeam Leadership & Development:\u00a0Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, manage performance, support succession planning, and promote technical growth and capability building.
\n\tStakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement:\u00a0Collaborate across departments, support Lean and ESD initiatives, and lead continuous improvement in equipment reliability and engineering practices.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBSc, BEng, BTech, or Advanced Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
\n\t5\u201310 years of engineering experience in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment
\n\tExperience in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams
\n\tGovernment Certificate of Competency (Factories) will be an added advantage
\n\tMDP or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
