\tSenwes is looking for professionals to monitor, control, and correct financial transactions and vendor payments in accordance with prescribed procedures to minimize risk.<\/p>\n
Error Identification & Resolution:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify error between supplier statements and statements.
\n\tFollow up with supplier regarding errors.
\n\tCommunicate relevant error to management.
\n\tProcess invoice \/ credit notes on system.
\n\tCoaching of vendors regarding the elimination of unnecessary errors.
\n\tProcess journals on vendor accounts and general ledger.
\n\tEnsure vendor master data is up to date and relevant.
\n\tInvestigate the correctness of outstanding goods received notes.
\n\tReceive and prepare statements.
\n\tHandle and resolve external and internal queries.<\/p>\n
Reconciliation:<\/p>\n
\tReceive supplier statements (electronic and\/or hard copy) for processing.
\n\tPrioritise supplier statements to ensure timely and accurate processing.
\n\tPrepare, balance, and reconcile statements for posting.
\n\tFollow up on errors or discrepancies with relevant internal and external parties.
\n\tRequest amended statements from suppliers when required.
\n\tAccurately identify and match invoices and credit notes to supplier statements.
\n\tProcess contra entries for credit notes, payments, and invoices on the accounting system.
\n\tIdentify and match credit notes with corresponding claims to ensure accuracy.
\n\tCapture and process credit notes on the system timeously.
\n\tHandle and resolve supplier and internal queries promptly and professionally.<\/p>\n
Payment processing and documentation:<\/p>\n
\tObtain approval for payment
\n\tEnsure that payment vs. statement is correct.
\n\tCalculate and deduct claims from payment.
\n\tControl baseline dates and payment terms.
\n\tJournalise payments, payment discounts and rebates.
\n\tFollow up on vendors statements not received.
\n\tEnsure completeness and correctness of invoices (VAT, etc.)
\n\tHandle queries.
\n\tCoaching of vendors regarding remittance advices and claims.
\n\tFollow up on payment requests to Treasury.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMicrosoft office (Excel & Word)
\n\tAt least 1-2 years of relevant experience<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate with Accounting as main subject<\/p>\n
