We are hiring!<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re on the lookout for\u00a0Broke Handler\u00a0to assist the Dry End Operator in running the day-to-day operations of the Dry End of the Paper Machine and remove broke from the paper section and put it into the pulper so that pulp levels are maintained to an optimum rate on a continuous basis.<\/p>\n
As Broke Handler, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tMaintaining a high standard of safety and housekeeping
\n\tAssisting the Dry End Operator with reel changeovers
\n\tAssisting with tail feed from the press section
\n\tCollecting and removing broke from within the section and puts into the pulper
\n\tRelieving in positions trained for within the paper section
\n\tCarrying out any other duties \/ tasks as requested by the supervisor from time to time
\n\tIdentifying and taking corrective action in terms of SHEQ conditions and hazards
\n\tAdhering\u00a0to environmental policy and procedures including: reducing waste and preventing spills<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent
\n\tFull N1 Pulp & Paper or equivalent
\n\t1 years\u2019 experience in a Pulp and Paper manufacturing environment
\n\tCrane licence is preferred<\/p>\n
