\tManage and lead the software\/firmware engineering team
\n\tMentoring younger engineers
\n\tReview product specifications and designs
\n\tInvolved in design and code reviews
\n\tPromotes secure software development lifecycle (SSDL)
\n\tParticipate and contribute in planning events, workshops, and system demonstrations
\n\tDrive and support continuous improvement and other agile practices
\n\tInterface with partners\/customers to understand their needs and requirements
\n\tInterface with manufacturers on issues relating to manufacturing, testing, and production
\n\tWork closely with other engineering and quality teams<\/p>\n
Education and\/or Experience \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMust possess a degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
\n\tMust possess a minimum of 3+ years engineering experience, preferably engineering in electronics industry with experience managing a team.
\n\tExperience managing remote individuals that may be located in different timezones and\/or countries
\n\tEmbedded development experience, with a focus on ARM Linux operating systems
\n\tProgramming experience in C\/C++, C#, Rust
\n\tWeb development (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful, JSON, XML, MQTT)
\n\tExperience developing and deploying applications under Linux and Windows
\n\tExperience with TCP\/IP networking, transport layer protocols including TCP and UDP, and application layer protocols including HTTPS
\n\tExperience with Agile methodologies.\u00a0 Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) desired
\n\tExperience with Jira highly desired
\n\tGood knowledge of version control strategies (git flow, git trunk)
\n\tExperience with secure coding practices as well as cyber security
\n\tUnderstanding on how to make code maintainable
\n\tKnowledge of digital certificates
\n\tExperience with project management<\/p>\n
