We are looking for a highly motivated Software Developer with experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, database systems, and Python API development. This role will focus on developing and optimizing our MySQL- and SQL Server\u2013based MPP database systems, integrating them with FastAPI-driven Python services for semantic layer technologies. The successful candidate will be part of a small, innovative team driving modernization of our data infrastructure.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on data warehousing and ETL.
\n\tDegree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
\n\tStrong hands-on experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
\n\tProven ability to implement and manage ETL pipelines, with expertise in SSIS and Kestra.
\n\tSolid understanding of Kimbal star schema and relational theory for analytical modeling.
\n\tDemonstrable Python development experience, specifically in FastAPI for web\/API development and data integration.
\n\tProficient in SQL, including complex queries, joins, indexing, and stored procedures.
\n\tUnderstanding of data warehousing principles (subject-oriented, integrated, time-variant, non-volatile).
\n\tFamiliarity with distributed systems and parallelized processing is a plus.
\n\tExperience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI) for reporting and dashboard integration.
\n\tSelf-motivated, innovative, and comfortable in a fast-evolving technical environment.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, Excel, web logs) into the data warehouse.
\n\tDevelop, optimize, and maintain SQL code for table creation, indexing, stored procedures, and query performance across MySQL and SQL Server
\n\tApply Kimbal star schema design principles to ensure efficient and scalable relational modeling.
\n\tBuild and maintain Python-based web and API services using FastAPI for data delivery and semantic modeling.
\n\tDevelop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and Kestra (kestra.io).
\n\tCollaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure smooth integration with dashboards, reporting, and semantic layer models.
\n\tMonitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and scalability.
\n\tStay up-to-date with emerging trends in data warehousing, ETL frameworks, database technologies, and API development.
\n\tExperience with Kubernetes (K8s) and\/or Docker for containerization and deployment (Bonus).
\n\tjs experience for analytics and data modeling.
\n\tExperience building and supporting semantic layer models in Python.<\/p>\n
