Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nQualification:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of BSc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry or Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology or Chemistry.
\n\tBSc Hons or MSc Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology OR Chemistry (preferred).<\/p>\n
Work Experience:<\/p>\n
\t0-2 years. This is an entry-level internship position.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nGeneral \u00a0Tasks\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssisting with project management activities within the Bioprocessing Platform
\n\tOperate and maintain laboratory equipment under supervision.
\n\tCollect, record, and analyse experimental data accurately.
\n\tSupport quality control and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
\n\tParticipate in troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.
\n\tPrepare scientific reports and presentations summarizing findings for internal review.
\n\tProviding basic support in administration of the Platform.
\n\tUndertake general research activities as assigned by the mentor or project custodian<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Relations<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with internal team members (research scientists, technicians, clients and other staff) to assist with project execution and undertake research activities as assigned.
\n\tSupport the team in preparing for project meetings or presentations.
\n\tAssist in responding to administrative queries from internal stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Internal Processes<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the accurate capture, filing, and record keeping of research data and project documentation.
\n\tSupport project management activities by assisting in tracking project milestones or administrative deliverables.
\n\tFollow all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory and administrative tasks.
\n\tAssist in preparing documentation for the procurement of laboratory consumables or services.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Governance and Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to all laboratory Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) systems and procedures.
\n\tEnsure all assigned tasks are performed in compliance with the Platform’s quality management system and SOPs.
\n\tMaintain confidentiality of all research, project, and platform information<\/p>\n
