\tMy client is looking for a dynamic\u00a0Warehouse Manager\u00a0with strong experience in the\u00a0freight logistics sector\u00a0to lead operations at a busy Durban facility. This is a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from receipt to dispatch, maintaining operational excellence, and driving efficiency across the warehouse function.<\/p>\n
What you’ll be doing:<\/p>\n
\tOversee all warehouse operations – ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
\n\tManage inventory levels, resource planning, and cost control to align with business objectives.
\n\tLead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to optimise workflows, improve turnaround times, and strengthen client relationships.
\n\tAnalyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
\n\tMaintain high service standards by ensuring timely, safe, and compliant handling of cargo.<\/p>\n
Required Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProven experience as a\u00a0Warehouse Manager\u00a0(or similar senior role) within\u00a0freight logistics or supply chain operations.
\n\tExcellent organisational, analytical, and leadership skills.
\n\tStrong understanding of\u00a0warehouse management systems\u00a0and reporting processes.
\n\tA natural problem-solver with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.
\n\tSolid computer literacy and a sharp eye for detail.
\n\tRelevant qualification in\u00a0Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.<\/p>\n
