Description<\/p>\n
\tCarrying out Farm practices as directed by the Farm management and\/or a Researcher.
\n\tUse and maintenance of tools and equipment that are made available.
\n\tCarrying out manual tasks as assigned by Supervisors.
\n\tObservance of Occupational Health and Safety instructions on the use of appropriate protective clothing.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 10 with 1 to 2 years\u2019 experience in the fruit farming environment.
\n\tUnderstanding of basic agricultural practices.
\n\tBasic knowledge on manual operation of farm equipment and machinery.
\n\tExperience in the construction industry (plumbing, carpentry, building etc) will be an added advantage.
\n\tGood communication skills written and verbal.
\n\tGood understanding of health and safety procedures.
\n\tWilling to work under adverse weather conditions.
