\n\tOur established call center based in Umhlanga seeks a skilled Cashier to play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our staff, ensuring accurate transactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You\u2019ll be an essential part of creating an enjoyable, organized environment for both customers and team members.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManage transactions with customers using cash registers.
\n\tKeep track of all cash and credit transactions.
\n\tScan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
\n\tReceive payments (cash or credit) and issue receipts.
\n\tIssue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
\n\tCross-sell products and introduce new ones.
\n\tResolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
\n\tGreet customers when entering or leaving the store.
\n\tHandle merchandise returns and exchanges; replenish stock.
\n\tHandle and pack food for various campaigns.
\n\tClean workstation and maintain high hygiene standards.
\n\tEnsure surroundings are neat, tidy, and surfaces sanitized.
\n\tDish food to customers according to the portion sizes directed by the catering manager.
\n\tMonitor service periods and expedite when food is running low.
\n\tAssist in other areas of the kitchen when cashier duties are complete.
\n\tEnsure stock is checked on arrival, dated, labelled, and rotated using the FIFO system.
\n\tAdhere to Food Hygiene, Health, and Safety Regulations at all times.<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tAt least 2 years\u2019 prior experience as a cashier using Smart Retail POS systems
\n\tKnowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
\n\tManual dexterity and ability to operate POS systems
\n\tBasic PC knowledge
\n\tFamiliarity with kitchen equipment<\/p>\n
