\n\tWe\u2019re on the lookout for an\u00a0Outside Operator #2 Digester\u00a0to\u00a0safely and efficiently operate the Fibreline #2 Digester equipment, ensuring optimal production performance and minimizing downtime.<\/p>\n
As an Outside Operator #2 Digester you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain technical knowledge of the plant and monitor section performance.
\n\tInspect Cooking, Screening, Washing, Noodle, and Auxiliary sections, rectifying and reporting deficiencies.
\n\tInitiate notifications to relevant maintenance departments and perform lockouts using safe work procedures.
\n\tSupervise and ensure high standards of 5S housekeeping and safety awareness.
\n\tStay in constant radio communication with process controllers and ensure quality shift handovers.
\n\tConduct regular plant inspections, complete checklists, and write clearance certificates for maintenance.
\n\tLine up plant for start-up and block it for shutdown following best practices.
\n\tRelief on licensed plant sections when required and identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science, or N3 in Pulp and Paper\/Engineering Studies.
\n\tMinimum of 1\u20133 years\u2019 relevant experience in a production or pulp and paper environment, with sound technical and operational understanding.<\/p>\n
