Purpose of Job<\/p>\n
\tTo set up and operate production machinery to ensure the efficient running of the production environment, which may include 1st line maintenance support where required.<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tCleaning of machines, benches, floors, PPE, etc. according to planned routine.
\n\tPacking materials in storage areas according to planned routine.
\n\tSafe handling, packing and storage of raw materials \/ hazardous chemicals \/ gas cylinders Loading and off loading of vehicles.
\n\tEnsure general neatness of area of responsibility.
\n\tPerform painting tasks as planned Sasol Nitro Employee Induction including Emergency Preparedness.
\n\tAd hoc job related tasks on request of more senior personnel Work overtime as and when required.
\n\tSafe and correct use of hand tools and equipment.
\n\tSafe handling of process chemicals and explosives.
\n\tOff loading tankers (where applicable).
\n\tPreparation and handling of Gassing solution.
\n\tCleaning and decontamination of Bulk Truck General.
\n\tMaintenance assist with breakdowns and on site services on MMUs ATM.
\n\tDetermination of Gassing properties.
\n\tAssist to maintain general health, safety and environmental systems.
\n\tCorrect identification and use of PPE Participation in emergency preparedness exercises.
\n\tRoutine inspection on safety equipment and ensure maintenance where applicable.
\n\tAdhere to all safety and work standards.
\n\tWorking at heights permit if necessary.
\n\tConduct OUPA System and BBS observations where applicable Blasting tasks (where applicable).<\/p>\n
