PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis position exists to ensure the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment, infrastructure and implementing engineering projects to improve operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Contract Management<\/p>\n
\tInterprets, implement, and manage the contract.
\n\tLiaise with client representative regarding overall plant performance.
\n\tCommunication with the client and management suggesting repairs and site improvements.<\/p>\n
SHEQ Management<\/p>\n
\tImplement the FAMP health and safety policy in accordance with client requirements and company requirements.
\n\tManage and implement MHSA procedures, policies, and standards.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Plant Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tAnalysing data for all plants and investigating barriers to effective quality performance, causes of delays and deviations and ensuring mitigating plans are prepared and implemented.
\n\tDevelop maintenance procedures, methods, and standards.
\n\tEnsures that own\/client\u2019s assets are maintained in a safe working condition.
\n\tEnsures that maintenance is managed cost-effectively.
\n\tImplement and maintain a preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and maximize equipment availability.
\n\tEnsuring work is planned, scheduled, executed and monitored in accordance to the Engineering objectives and standards.
\n\tInspecting critical jobs to verify the work is performed correctly and safely
\n\tManage critical spares and stock account.
\n\tTechnical support for repair methods for installed equipment and ratables – expert in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
\n\tEnsure RCA\u2019s (Root Cause Analysis) are being done in line with RCA guidelines<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/ Matric
\n\tN4 or equivalent engineering qualification
\n\tTrade Test MQA\/MERSETA preferred.
\n\tAccredited Supervisory or Management qualification added advantage<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t3 years Supervisor or Foreman experience in the Plant Processing, Crushing and Screening industry.
\n\t2-3 years experience as an artisan, engineering foreman or\u00a0GES<\/p>\n
