Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tEnsure and Control legal compliance in terms of appointment and service level agreement.
\n\tLong Term Planning and Implementation of Ventilation Systems
\n\tImplementation and Management of Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Programme
\n\tConsultation with Line Management and Senior Management
\n\tConsultation with DMRE, Minerals Council and other regulatory bodies.
\n\tReporting occupational hygiene and ventilation monitoring data, incidents, and illnesses according to regulatory requirements
\n\tImplementation and Management of a Hearing Conservation Programme
\n\tImplementation and Management of Emergency Procedures
\n\tEnsure legal conformance to procedures and standards in terms of Ventilation, Occupational Hygiene, Emergency Preparedness and response, Rescue, First Aid, Fire Prevention and Hazardous Substances
\n\tDaily Supervision and Management of Subordinates.
\n\tProblem identification and recommendation on remedial actions
\n\tAsset, cost control and administrative functions
\n\tManagement of Departmental Safety, Create and maintain a positive team environment.<\/p>\n
Formal Education<\/p>\n
\tUniversity Bachelors Degree<\/p>\n
Certificates<\/p>\n
\tCertificate in Mine Environment Control as recognised by the Mine Health and Safety Act (Absolute essential)<\/p>\n
Working Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience: 6+ relevant years<\/p>\n
