About the Role:<\/p>\n
\tWe\u2019re seeking a dynamic and skilled\u00a0Commercial Administrator\u00a0to support the growth of our retail product range into chain stores across South Africa and selected regional markets.
\n\tThis is a hands-on, hybrid role that blends administrative excellence with retail sales and merchandising support. Ideal for someone with a strong background in sales coordination, retail execution, and commercial data management.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Sales & Merchandising Support<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and execute retail sales strategies to meet growth targets.
\n\tBuild and maintain strong relationships with buyers, store managers, and key retail partners.
\n\tAnalyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
\n\tImplement effective in-store merchandising and category management plans.
\n\tNegotiate pricing, promotions, and trading terms with stakeholders.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams on visual merchandising and stock planning.<\/p>\n
Administrative Support<\/p>\n
\tManage and maintain commercial documentation (contracts, agreements, proposals).
\n\tPrepare quotations, pricing schedules, and customer correspondence.
\n\tAssist with invoicing, purchase orders, and internal approval processes.<\/p>\n
Data Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate records of sales performance, pricing, and client data.
\n\tAssist in preparing reports, dashboards, and tracking commercial KPIs.
\n\tMonitor budgets, stock levels, and cost-related data for accuracy and performance.<\/p>\n
Client & Supplier Liaison<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate with customers and suppliers on orders, delivery timelines, and documentation.
\n\tSupport commercial managers with client queries, follow-ups, and resolution of issues.
\n\tEnsure timely, professional, and accurate communication with stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience in retail sales and\/or merchandising
\n\tExperience working in FMCG or consumer product environments preferred
\n\tExcellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
\n\tProficient in commercial documentation, reporting, and sales tracking
\n\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\tSelf-driven and able to work independently as well as in a team<\/p>\n
