\tEnsure compliance with EHS and TMC regulations and guidelines to uphold quality expectations of customer and company
\n\tManage production planning to ensure proper staffing levels to maintain productivity (i.e., order readiness, customer specs, speed trails, etc.)
\n\tEnsure adherence to the production plan
\n\tEnsure employees are adhering to the standard of operating machinery \/ equipment etc
\n\tDrive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor all control procedures, recommending improvements to the Plant Manager as appropriate
\n\tOversee the preparation of packaging
\n\tRecord and report all plant stoppages that requires maintenance department to attend to
\n\tLead problem solving on the line where applicable and follow escalation
\n\tDedication to meet the targets set out for production
\n\tEnsure lock out procedures are followed
\n\tReport all non-conformances to your line manager
\n\tDevelop & use SOPs & OPLs to train production team members.
\n\tIdentify training and development opportunities for team leaders and their teams
\n\tLead, coach and develop your direct reports in order to increase their capability

\tThe ideal candidate must have completed Matric and would be advantageous should the candidate possess Engineering or Operations Diploma. This role requires someone who has 3-5 years\u2019 experience in a managerial\/ supervisory role in a continuous process manufacturing environment. SAP experience would be advantageous. Computer literacy is essential for this role.\u00a0<\/p>\n
