Your Mission<\/p>\n
Technical Support & Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tPerform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on Epiroc Trackless mining equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic systems).
\n\tDiagnose and resolve equipment faults, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions to eliminate defects.
\n\tConduct machine audits, daily inspections, and RigScan assessments.
\n\tAssist with machine repairs, breakdown calls, and critical parts planning.
\n\tProcess warranty claims and implement technical service bulletins\/modifications.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and improvements.<\/p>\n
Process Improvement & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all work meets quality control standards,
\n\tSuggest and implement process changes to improve equipment performance and reliability.
\n\tPrepare technical reports, failure analyses, and recommendations for process improvements.
\n\tCoordinate with mine and Epiroc technical teams and participate in planning meetings.
\n\tSubmit weekly status reports and maintain documentation of all activities.<\/p>\n
Safety & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to company and mine safety, health, and environmental requirements.
\n\tParticipate in risk assessments and safety meetings.
\n\tEnsure all work complies with MHSA and site procedures.<\/p>\n
Your Profile:<\/p>\n
\t3+ years\u2019 experience maintaining mining\/drilling equipment (Epiroc preferred).
\n\t1\u20132 years as master technician or leading hand (advantageous).
\n\tSkilled in repair, assembly, rebuilding, and commissioning machinery.
\n\tStrong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
\n\tExpertise in troubleshooting and diagnostics for trackless mining equipment.
\n\tAble to read technical drawings and product catalogues.
\n\tFamiliar with underground and surface mining environments.
\n\tPreferred: CAN Bus, rig control, automation systems experience.
\n\tGrade 12\/Matric; Section 26D Trade Test (Diesel\/Earthmoving\/Millwright\/Electro-Mechanical).
\n\tN6 Engineering Diploma (advantageous).
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence; medically fit; willing to work underground.
\n\tComputer literate (MS Office).
\n\tExcellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
\n\tProfessional conduct and grooming.<\/p>\n
