Purpose of the position:<\/p>\n
\tThe Data Capturer supports the M&E specialist in capturing and consolidating facility and partner data. The District Data Capturer is responsible for consolidating weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tTertiary qualification would be advantageous
\n\tTrained on TIER.Net software and\/or previous experience with TIER.Net data capturing and reporting
\n\tStrong knowledge of HIV\/AIDS
\n\tMinimum of two years\u2019 experience in working with DoH data\/M&E systems (from patient-record level to DHIS level);
\n\tExperience in data collection and capturing
\n\tExperience with data capturing or collection within the public health sector will be advantageous.
\n\tFamiliarity with the public health sector and District Health System will be advantageous
\n\tMS Office
\n\tAble to communicate in English and isiXhosa languages
\n\tClear criminal record<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCapturing and consolidating facility data
\n\tEnsures that all weekly, monthly and quarterly data is received, captured and consolidated
\n\tUpdate databases with weekly, monthly and quarterly data
\n\tFormat and structure data according to requirements
\n\tKeep and maintain a register of who is responsible for data submission at each facility
\n\tNotify the M&E specialist and other relevant staff if data is not submitted on time and keep record of all data submissions
\n\tInteract with colleagues and project management to ensure fulfilment of project objectives
\n\tInteract with Department of Health and THC staff to capture relevant subject-related information
\n\tFiling and administrative duties as required<\/p>\n
