\tHuntswood is looking for a Team Leader with the right talent and skills to lead our team. The purpose of the role is to drive performance delivered to Huntswood clients and their customers, by achieving outstanding levels of quality, sales and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities:
\nLeadership & Guidance<\/p>\n
\tProvide direction and motivation to team members.
\n\tAct as the first point of contact for team-related issues.
\n\tFoster a positive and productive work environment.<\/p>\n
Task Management<\/p>\n
\tAssign tasks based on skills and workload.
\n\tMonitor progress and ensure deadlines are met.
\n\tManage resources effectively.<\/p>\n
Performance Monitoring<\/p>\n
\tTrack team performance against KPIs or goals.
\n\tConduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions.
\n\tIdentify training needs and support development.<\/p>\n
Communication<\/p>\n
\tServe as a link between management and the team.
\n\tCommunicate company policies, updates, and objectives.
\n\tResolve conflicts and maintain team harmony.<\/p>\n
Problem-Solving<\/p>\n
\tAddress operational challenges promptly.
\n\tEscalate issues when necessary.
\n\tImplement solutions to improve efficiency.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and submit performance reports to managers.
\n\tHighlight achievements and areas for improvement.<\/p>\n
Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 1-2 years experience leading teams – Essential
\n\tStrong experience within the financial services space – e.g. Insurance\/Banking\/Consumer Credit
\n\tMinimum qualification of Matric\/NQF 4Matric\/NQF4
\n\tClear HR Records<\/p>\n
