\nProcurement<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate supplier development activities with Supply Chain Manager, Procurement manager, Group Procurement Head and other Procurement Managers in order to generate maximum synergy for the company
\n\tDesign, implement and carry our cross functional supplier audit strategies in line with BU requirements
\n\tLiaise with BU department heads on their supplier development requirements, assuring quick and efficient turn around
\n\tSelect, evaluate and maintain relations with vendors through periodic performance reviews and ongoing audits
\n\tNegotiate terms of contracts and deliveries that are favorable for the company and comply with local laws and regulations
\n\tEnsure that company procurement procedures are fully and transparently followed at all times
\n\tSecure material availability by minimizing single sourcing risks.
\n\tStudy market trends on pricing, alternative sources of materials, shipping practices and other patterns in the industry directly affecting procurement and advise the management accordingly<\/p>\n
Supply Chain Administration<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements
\n\tSupport and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics
\n\tContribute to periodic departmental and company planning and budgeting cycles including the annual Business Plan Process (BPP)
\n\tSelect, evaluate and develop department employees, following general HR policies
\n\tEvaluate the training needs of all staff reporting to the position and ensure appropriate plans are in place
\n\tPro-actively monitor departmental operational and financial performance and develop personal and departmental action plans to achieve targets set for the department
\n\tActively support the BU management team in implementing BU- and company-wide policies\/procedures and action plans
\n\tCollaborate with Planning managers of other Safal group companies on sharing best practices and improving performance
\n\tEnsure the safeguarding and security of Company assets<\/p>\n

\tOffice bound \/ on-site \/ May be required to travel
\n\tThe company may choose to relocate to branches or other sister offices as and when needed
\n\tParticipate in Job interviews for departmental recruits
\n\tA strong command of spoken and written English (the business language of the Safal Group)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMinimum academic qualification: BCOM in Procurement \/ Supply Chain or Equivalent
\n\tGeneral work experience (years): 10 Years
\n\tSpecific to the position (level\/discipline\/years): 5 Years
