\tOur\u00a0established\u00a0client in the upper highway area is\u00a0seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join\u00a0their busy\u00a0accounting practice. The successful candidate will primarily service a key property client portfolio consisting of multiple entities.
\n\tThis role offers the opportunity to work in a professional accounting environment while focusing on a complex, fast-growing property group.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
General Accounting & Financial Management<\/p>\n
\tManage full accounting functions for a property client portfolio, including\u00a0other\u00a0multiple entities.
\n\tPrepare and maintain monthly management accounts for each entity.
\n\tPerform monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
\n\tOversee and produce group consolidated management accounts and cash flow statements.
\n\tPrepare year-end financial statements in accordance with IFRS and assist with the annual audit process.<\/p>\n
Taxation & Compliance<\/p>\n
\tManage VAT calculations, submissions, and reconciliations across the group.
\n\tOversee income tax and provisional tax computations and submissions.
\n\tEnsure full compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
\n\tRegistration as a tax practitioner is advantageous.<\/p>\n
Advisory & Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to support property investment decisions.
\n\tCollaborate with accounting partners and client directors to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
\n\tSupport system improvements, process automation, and consistency in reporting across client entities.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tCA(SA) qualification (essential).
\n\tMinimum 3-5 years post-articles experience, ideally in property, investment, or multi-entity group structures.
\n\tExcellent understanding of IFRS, group consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
\n\tAdvanced Excel and strong working knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
\n\tProven ability to manage multiple entities, deadlines, and reporting obligations simultaneously.
\n\tStrong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
\n\tKnowledge of casework working papers is advantageous.<\/p>\n
