Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tCreate and maintain pricing models in SAP for various principals and customers. Manage various pricing in the system including selling price, list price, deal price and cost price of materials for sale in Vector SAP across all business units.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Pricing Administration:<\/p>\n
\tUpdate the deal register.
\n\tCapture and release list prices.
\n\tCapture and release deals.
\n\tVerify the ZCOSTMAINT report to ensure cost price changes are updated nationally.
\n\tRun client and principal rate and price updates.
\n\tUpload client purchasing contracts.
\n\tUpload distribution fees.
\n\tUpload margins.
\n\tUpload premium surcharges.
\n\tUpload direct discounts.
\n\tUpload taxes and border charges.
\n\tTest all central pricing programmes.
\n\tMaintain the pricing master file.<\/p>\n
Pricing Management:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that any new or amended pricing is validated in line with the relevant Pricing Model.
\n\tDeviations to be resolved with the relevant principal or customer.<\/p>\n
Reporting (Daily, Weekly and Monthly):<\/p>\n
\tDistribute relevant pricing reports to Principals\/Customers and the Vector Customer team promptly to ensure minimum lost revenue.
\n\tEnsure active pricing in the system, including deals, is signed off by Principals\/Customers and the Vector Customer team to ensure accuracy of pricing in the system.
\n\tProvide definitions of deals due to expire to Principals\/Customers in order to prevent claims and lost revenue.
\n\tProvide reports on a monthly basis of deals loaded late by Principals\/Customers which resulted in claims being raised.
\n\tFormulate monthly reporting for Executive Leadership.<\/p>\n
Query Resolution:<\/p>\n
\tResolve pricing queries on lines dropped due to incorrect pricing.
\n\tResolve incorrect pricing in line with the relevant commercial pricing model agree to.
\n\tAssist Central Debtors with queries on pricing claims.
\n\tAssist Vector depots and Principals\/Customers with pricing queries.<\/p>\n
Pricing Models:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure pricing models are correct and aligned to relevant customer contracts.
\n\tEnsure the team understand the various pricing models and apply them correctly in the execution of updating pricing in the system.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership:<\/p>\n
\tManage and lead a team of 2 staff members (Pricing Controllers).<\/p>\n

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required for the Job<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Degree.
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in Master Data\/Finance.
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in pricing or credit control.<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies<\/p>\n
\tSAP.
\n\tComputer literacy (MS Office).
\n\tVerbal and written communication.
\n\tInterpersonal.
\n\tLogical thinking.<\/p>\n
