Job Description:<\/p>\n
\tThe role provides an effective end-to-end administration of the maintenance of Payroll and Time and Attendance data. The role ensures that targets and measures are met.\u00a0
\n\tIt complies with all governance requirements.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition, the role will investigate and close any escalated issues stemming from stakeholders and escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to the appropriate level.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Tasks:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all tasks are done within the parameters of the Companies policies and comply legislatively whilst meeting all business objectives.
\n\tCapture all time and attendance and do weekly reconciliation of time messages
\n\tEnsure adherence to payroll calendars and deadlines
\n\tEnsure accurate and timeous processing of data that will ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time.
\n\tPrepare net pay comparisons checking and payslip checking
\n\tPrepare spread sheets \/ upload files for payroll purposes to submit to FSS for payment which includes HLA, encashments, sundry deductions\/refunds, telephone deductions, business kilo claims, NUM & Solidarity deductions and water & electricity deductions
\n\tEnsure good understanding of policy that governs payroll and also have the ability to explain contents of policy to customers.
\n\tPrepare boarding school assistance for processing at FSS payrolls
\n\tCompletes financial section of Rand Mutual insurance and Sanlam
\n\tCompletes taxable earnings for terminations
\n\tCompile leave audits
\n\tPrinting of payslips on a monthly basis or on request
\n\tSorting & distribution of payslips
\n\tPreparing of correction run information & documentation
\n\tAssist with various payroll related queries and internal and external audit processes<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n
\tSAP HR
\n\tStrong aptitude for Microsoft Office
\n\tBasic analytical & problem-solving skills
\n\tLegislation pertaining to payroll environment, i.e. POPI, BCEA
\n\tHigh level of attention to detail
\n\tAbility to work well under pressure, within set guidelines and fast paced environment<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 Essential
\n\tPayroll or HR qualification advantageous<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t2 years\u2019 experience in Payroll administrative role
\n\tKnowledge of Payroll system
\n\tCustomer Service Orientation<\/p>\n
