ROLE PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tMaintaining the Site Maintenance on ASSIGNED sites as per the required Scope of Work as specified by the Customer. Drive planned preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on all non-network infrastructure such as Air-Conditioning, Electrical plant and general infrastructure to give effect to the business maintenance strategy and client service standards. Providing technical support to Regional Managers, Portfolio Managers\/Junior Portfolio Managers.<\/p>\n
MAIN OUTPUTS<\/p>\n
\tMaintain the ASSIGNED sites according to Scope of Work and any instructions\/standards provided.
\n\tMeet the daily\/weekly\/monthly Target.
\n\tPPM Technician must ensure Tools, Vehicles, Test Equipment, Laptops, Cellphones are looked after and checked for condition and ensure all of these are safe for use and maintained on a register.
\n\tPPM Technician must ensure he\/she complies with and adhere to the Health and Safety requirements of
\n\tBidvest FM and the client\u2019s requirement as applicable on the site.
\n\tTo ensure that all access procedures as well as work status updates are done in accordance with the agreed procedures and processes.
\n\tRestoring sites within SLA to standard.
\n\tAdhering to quality requirements as stipulated by scope of work.
\n\tManaging assistant daily to ensure optimal performance of the team, report any deviances to management.
\n\tIdentifying where site enhancements is due and obtaining authorization to proceed.
\n\tCompleting tasks onsite within allocated timeframes.
\n\tAdhering to instructions given by management.
\n\tEnsure that your e-mail address and company phone is always operational.
\n\tThe PPM technician will always answer his phone when on duty and return calls as soon as possible when not on duty.
\n\tReport any unsafe work situations to management.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
\nThe Applicant must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n
\tNational N4-Electrical Engineering Trade Theory
\n\tElectrician (26D), or Section 28, Electrician, Wireman\u2019s License\u00a0
\n\tRefrigeration Trade Test (Advantage not needed).
\n\tMatric\/Grade 12
\n\tValid Code 10 EB Driver\u2019s License (4*4 and advanced driving will be an advantage)
\n\t3-5 Years PPM (Preventative Maintenance)\/CPM (Corrective Maintenance)
\n\tExperience in the GSM and Core Network Telecommunications Environment.<\/p>\n
