\tThis role will report to the Business Manager.Your primary focus will be building a supporting portfolio of brokers to increase new business. The Broker Consultant is the interface between the brokers and Sanlam and strives to achieve the business objectives in a dynamic, innovative and high-performance environment.
\n\tAs a Broker Consultant, you will play a third-party marketing role to promote Sanlam products to Brokers, with a primary focus of building a portfolio of supporting brokers, by forming trusting and co-operative relationships that enhance new business opportunities whilst supporting and up-skilling Brokers with the relevant information, tools and technologies that will enable them in their practice.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Qualification & experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCompleted Business\/Commerce\/Marketing\/Legal degree
\n\tPreferably Post graduate Diploma in Financial Planning\/RFP3\/Wealth Management 3
\n\tGoal and target motivated
\n\tSales and marketing orientation
\n\tNatural relationship-builder
\n\tAt least three years Broker Consultant experience and currently in a Broker\/Business Consultant\/Business Development Manager role in a Life Insurance or Linked Investment Service Provider company.<\/p>\n

To be successful you will need to demonstrate good experience in:<\/p>\n
\tAbility to build a portfolio of brokers
\n\tThe financial services industry, specifically in life insurance
\n\tMarketing principles and sales skills in order to meet your targets
\n\tExperience in third-party marketing
\n\tRelevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge
\n\tWillingness to travel
\n\tMust have a valid driver\u2019s license and reliable motor vehicle<\/p>\n
