ABOUT THE ROLE:<\/p>\n
This role is a permanent full-time position.<\/p>\n
\tAs a Specialist Business Improvement, you will be responsible for Continuous Improvement and the ability to drive change.
\n\tUtilizes the appropriate Lean, Six Sigma and Change Management methodologies to define, drive and deliver the operational excellence strategy.<\/p>\n
Other key responsibilities include, but aren\u2019t limited to:<\/p>\n
\tAssist in the identification of opportunities to reduce cost, increase production, improve safety and culture and maintain the improvement project pipeline;
\n\tDevelop and maintain Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies in the day-to-day operations;
\n\tProvide technical expertise in Business Improvement and Change Management principles and tools to enable identification and delivery of improvement opportunities aligned to key business goals;
\n\tDevelop, deploy and maintain an integrated Continuous Improvement program across the operation to include idea capturing, prioritizing and ecution;
\n\tManage a portfolio of improvement projects, including tracking of benefits, auditing of implemented projects to ensure that process improvements as sustained, and benefits are realized;
\n\tEnsure all continuous improvements projects are conducted to the highest of standards in a safe, quality-focused, and effective manner.<\/p>\n
ABOUT YOU:<\/p>\n
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:<\/p>\n
\tMust have a minimum of 4 \u2013 6 years\u2019 experience in an industrial environment;
\n\tGreen Belt Certification is desirable; \u00a0
\n\tBlack Belt Certification will be advantageous;
\n\tA Project management qualification is advantageous;
\n\tSAP experience will be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Qualifications for this role are:<\/p>\n
\tDegree \/ B Tech or National Diploma\u00a0 in Industrial Engineering\/ Engineering\/ Science\/Technology.<\/p>\n
