\n\tPerform the role of Senior on accounting and other projects by performing work on key areas and assist in planning, managing, supervising, coaching and reviewing of work. Bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, management statements, client budgets and general accounting functions for various entities including individuals\/sole proprietors, trusts and companies. Assist with audits and independent reviews. Maintain sound client and team relationships.
\n\tContribute to management of a portfolio of clients in respect of attest, accounting and consultation work
\n\tReconciliations
\n\tBookkeeping to Trial Balance
\n\tDrafting of Financial Statements and Management Accounts
\n\tPerform general accounting functions
\n\tBudgets, cash flows and forecasts
\n\tProcessing of data
\n\tManage teams on the job
\n\tRun and manage special projects
\n\tRisk management
\n\tMonitors costs against budgets
\n\tContribute to the development of staff
\n\tReport writing
\n\tCompliance with PwC Audit\/Review Methodology
\n\tGeneral administration
\n\tAudit on an occasional basis<\/p>\n
Competencies\/ Skills:<\/p>\n
\tPrevious experience within an accounting firm and\/or good understanding of the PwC Methodology and practical working experience
\n\tGood analytical and communication skills
\n\tFluent in English and Afrikaans
\n\tComputer literate – excellent knowledge of Pastel, Ms Word and Excel
\n\tMust be able to work under pressure
\n\tAbility to work independently, as part of team or in charge of team
\n\tSound administration skills
\n\tMust have sound technical knowledge including IFRS\/IFRS for SMME experience
\n\tMust be able to demonstrate and apply industry knowledge
\n\tMust be able to work overtime when necessary
\n\tDisplay sound leadership skills
\n\tSelf motivated and pay attention to detail
\n\tMust have valid driver\u2019s license
\n\tKnowledge of Agri business will be advantage<\/p>\n
