They build products that make payments personal and rewarding fur customers and merchants alike.<br \/>\n\tOur Clients are looking for experienced Key Account Manager or Merchant Growth Manager with demonstrated sales, customer success and marketing experience at an intermediate level.\u00a0 Previous experience in the hospitality\/retail, Fintech and corporate space will be advantageous.<br \/>\n\tThe Merchant Growth Manager is responsible for driving revenue, account growth and product adoption across a defined portfolio of active client merchants.<br \/>\n\tYou don&#8217;t manage clients &#8211; you grow them. You step in once the Merchant Acquisition Specialist has secured a merchant, and your role is to activate, educate and expand that relationship through the lens of our client&#8217;s proprietary product stack.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bPost-Onboarding Activation<\/p>\n<p>\tTake full ownership of new merchants post-onboarding from the Merchant Acquisition Specialist.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that QR placements, the acquiring channel(s), e.g. POS, PED, eCommerce, are setup, and collateral, whether in-person or online, are live and functioning.<br \/>\n\tDefine activation objectives with the merchant and deploy the relevant tools (e.g., vouchers, consumer incentives, capital pre qualification).<br \/>\n\tWhere applicable, migrate merchants from the free Basic plan to the paid Engagement Plan, with full access to loyalty and insight tools.<\/p>\n<p>Merchant Revenue Growth<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify up sell and cross-sell opportunities across the company&#8217;s product stack, with a focus on acquiring new customers, repeat usage, and customer value.<br \/>\n\tTailor strategies based on merchant vertical, performance, and seasonality (e.g., campaigns, bundles, incentives, or paid plan migration).<br \/>\n\tProactively engage merchants who are dormant, under performing, or eligible for growth &#8211; reactivation is your responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Account Management<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild deep relationships with store owners, managers, and operational staff to understand real-world needs and execute activation plans effectively.<br \/>\n\tConduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for top merchants, with data-driven insights, performance trends, and proposed growth plans.<br \/>\n\tBe the single point of commercial escalation and accountability for your portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Functional Collaboration<\/p>\n<p>\tPartner with Regional Growth Activators to align merchant campaigns with in-store activations and regional events.<br \/>\n\tWork with Operations and Product teams to resolve onboarding issues, merchant training gaps, or feature requests.<br \/>\n\tProvide merchant feedback to the Head of Merchant Growth for continuous product and messaging improvement.<\/p>\n<p>QuickSights &amp; Zoho Discipline<\/p>\n<p>\tTrack and report merchant growth activity and product uptake weekly.<br \/>\n\tMaintain updated merchant notes and next steps in QuickSights and Zoho.<br \/>\n\tForecast monthly growth targets by account and flag any churn risks for intervention<\/p>\n<p>This company is a remote working organisation however, on occasion, employees might be required to get together at a chosen location.<\/p>\n<p>Preference will be given to candidates residing in\u00a0Durban North Coast based (Umhlanga, Ballito, La Lucia etc).<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tSolid experience in sales, customer success and marketing<br \/>\n\tFintech experience preferred<br \/>\n\tStrong business acumen and experience with payment products<br \/>\n\tAbility to interact with merchants and knowledge of the retail\/hospitality industry<br \/>\n\tFamiliar with local retail\/business offerings<br \/>\n\tAbility to work remotely<br \/>\n\tAbility to drive active participation and activity completion in an online environment.<br \/>\n\tCommercially strategic &#8211; always thinking of growth<br \/>\n\tTrusted advisor mindset to merchants<br \/>\n\tAccountable and performance driven<br \/>\n\tComfortable working across marketing, product and ops<br \/>\n\tProactive and responsive<br \/>\n\tFluent in reporting tools and CRM tracking tools (Zoho, Campaign Manager, QuickSights.)<br \/>\n\tThe candidate must reside on the Durban North Coast (Umhlanga, Ballito, La Lucia etc)<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Salesworx Recruitment (Pty) Ltd","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"We partner with clients who look to us for sourcing talent across South Africa & EMEA.
