\tOperate and monitor the wastewater treatment plant, attenuation pond, and sludge handling systems.
\n\tConduct water sampling, quality checks, and adjust chemical dosing as required.
\n\tMaintain correct chemical and diesel levels; ensuring stock availability and proper storage.
\n\tManage water and sludge tank levels.
\n\tManage waste skips and coordinate collection and replacements with contractors.
\n\tPerform routine inspections, housekeeping, and ensure plant availability.
\n\tPerform basic maintenance such as cleaning filters, lubricating parts, and opening inspection covers.
\n\tInspect and clear yard drains and debris baskets to prevent blockages.
\n\tEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
\n\tDocument operations, maintenance tasks, and report deviations or breakdowns.
\n\tPerform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions.
\n\tApply a systematic approach to troubleshooting and fault finding.
\n\tConsult equipment manuals and operate machines in accordance with prescribed procedures.

\n\tBe willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.

\tKnowledge and experience in water or wastewater treatment operations.
\n\tUnderstanding of chemical dosing, filtration, and sludge handling.
\n\tExperience in manufacturing or industrial plant environments.
\n\tFamiliarity with performance metrics, 5S, and Health & Safety practices.
\n\tRoot cause analysis techniques and application.
\n\tAbility to work independently with precision and attention to detail.
\n\tGood communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
\n\tCommitment to safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement.
\n\tProficiency in using hand tools.
\n\tMatric Certificate.
\n\tQualification in Water Treatment Plant Operations or equivalent.
\n\tN3 or Higher Engineering N Course.
\n\tInstrument Trade or Electrical is advantageous.
\n\tMinimum 5 years’ plant operations experience, including at least 2 years in water treatment.
\n\tValid Code 08 (Code B) Driver’s License and own transport.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).<\/p>\n
