Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tOverseeing daily operations in the sales department for the region. Manage and coordinate a group of KWV Business Development Representatives by providing leadership, direction and guidance.<\/p>\n
This also includes hiring and training sales staff, relaying information from senior management to sales teams about sales targets in order to ensure the following:<\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/p>\n
\tPlanning of monthly sales targets as per budget, broken down by area, Business Development Representativetrade channel and customer
\n\tManage and build relationships with 3rd party merchandising business partners
\n\tForecast depot stock requirements weekly
\n\tTrade visits and completion of Accompaniment reports
\n\tCoaching sales staff
\n\tOverseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
\n\tPlanning and directing the hiring and training of new appointments within the team
\n\tPreparing sales budgets, projections and approving expenditures
\n\tDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key clients
\n\tDefining and executing territory sales plans<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 and relevant tertiary qualification in either Sales, Business Management or Marketing
\n\t5-Years relevant experience in sales or customer marketing within an FMCG environment
\n\t5-Years’ experience in the liquor Industry, specifically in the Off Trade and Main Market will be advantageous
\n\tExcellent negotiating, analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizing and communication skills
\n\tStrong commercial and financial acumen
\n\tFrequent business travel and possible sleep over within the Region
\n\tIT literacy
\n\tValid driver’s license and own vehicle and willing to travel within the region<\/p>\n

\tVerbal and written communication skills in English
\n\tLeadership as well as inter-personal skills
\n\tCustomer service orientation
\n\tResults driven
\n\tThe ability to set the business direction for the region and inspire and lead the team to achieve the objectives
\n\tAbility to coach, mentor and guide sales staff
\n\tPeople management skills
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and achieve results within set deadlines<\/p>\n
