Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tLead the rugby program, including 15-man and Sevens rugby, ensuring all teams play a brand of rugby outlined by the Director of Rugby.
\n\tEnsure coaches are in place for all teams; monitor their skills, player management, and Boksmart qualifications.
\n\tRecruit and develop players, ensuring teams in U14, U15, 2nd, and 1st age groups are filled.
\n\tSet up fixtures for the season and coordinate alignment with the school’s academic\/calendar requirements.
\n\tManage player conditioning and run preseason rugby fitness.
\n\tOrganize participation in tours and tournaments with the sports department and attend such events.
\n\tServe as boys\u2019 strength and conditioning coach for all boys\u2019 sports teams in conjunction with other MICs and coaches.
\n\tManage all gym scheduling, maintenance, and work towards developing a high-performance center.
\n\tAssist with learner recruitment (with a focus on boys) and support sponsorship acquisition and kit procurement.
\n\tExecute administrative duties, respond to school communications within 24 hours, and ensure professional conduct in punctuality and standards.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in coaching and managing high school rugby and sports programs.
\n\tStrong organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tDemonstrated leadership, team building, and ability to create positive working relationships.
\n\tGood communication skills, accountable for timely response to emails and messages.
\n\tAbility to motivate, inspire, and drive high standards of work ethic and attention to detail.
\n\tCommitment to work flexible hours (early mornings, late afternoons, during tournaments).
\n\tBoksmart qualification (or willingness to obtain if not held).
\n\tRelevant coaching certification and knowledge of sports conditioning.
\n\tWillingness to support all duties reasonably requested by the Head of School.<\/p>\n
