\tSupervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
\n\tSupport the Executive Chef in menu execution and event delivery.
\n\tOversee food preparation, cooking, and plating for restaurants, race days, and special events.
\n\tMaintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
\n\tAssist with inventory management, stock rotation, and minimising wastage.
\n\tTrain, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
\n\tCollaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of recipes, stock, and compliance documentation.
\n\tLead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.<\/p>\n
What You\u2019ll Need<\/p>\n
\tDegree\/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Professional Cookery, or Hospitality Management.
\n\tMinimum 3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in multi-outlet or event-driven environments.
\n\tStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and OHS regulations.
\n\tProven ability to supervise and develop kitchen teams.
\n\tExcellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tCreativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to culinary excellence.
\n\tAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
\n\tClear criminal record.<\/p>\n
