{"id":24769,"date":"2025-11-26T16:12:48","date_gmt":"2025-11-26T16:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/customer-services-manager\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T00:24:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T00:24:23","slug":"customer-services-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=24769","title":{"rendered":"Customer Services Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Your mission:<\/p>\n<p>\tLead the Customer Service teams at Merebank and Richards Bay mills and have a strong team set-up in place allowing an efficient way of order management activities.<br \/>\n\tStrong co-operation with stakeholders along the value chain in order to optimize business deliverables (including but not limited to Sales, Production Planning, Logistics, S&amp;OP etc.)<br \/>\n\tMaintain the requisite On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) score across domestic and international customers as a key indicator of Mondi&#8217;s overall efficiency, reliability, and ability to satisfy customers, ensuring the Supply Chain successfully meets customer expectations for both timeliness and accuracy, ensuring orders delivered to customers are within the agreed lead time and with the complete, correct quantity of items.<br \/>\n\tAlways striving to an excellent level of customer satisfaction by implementing quarterly reviews to measure customer service.<br \/>\n\tAssign customers to the Customer Service Co-ordinators; co-ordinate responsibilities amongst all team members (including managing leave for local Customer Service Co-ordinators and co-ordinate replacement matrix).<br \/>\n\tDefine the training needs of local Customer Service Co-ordinators to handle order management processes.<br \/>\n\tLooking for continuous improvement opportunities in order to create value for customers while increasing efficiency.<br \/>\n\tBeing a role model for innovative solutions (e.g. Mondi Fit For Future solutions, digitalisation etc.) in order to support our company\u2019s aspiration in being the paper and pulp industry lead.<br \/>\n\tManaging the orderbook for Uncoated Fine Paper, Pulp &amp; CCM (container board) sales.<br \/>\n\tTracking sales progress measured against the budgeted requirements.<br \/>\n\tUpdate pricing of materials ahead of pricing becoming effective.<br \/>\n\tCustomer Service Processes to be documented.<br \/>\n\tCustomer mapping of materials to be done for existing &amp; new materials.<br \/>\n\tInvestigating errors relevant to the Customer Service team and implement improvement measures.<br \/>\n\tReviewing aged stock and applying FIFO on order management.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tManaging expectations of individual markets serviced by customers service team to achieve overall targets (setting performance and service indicators).<br \/>\n\tManage a global network of customers together with the Supply Chain team, Sales managers and Sales teams to achieve the required targets.<br \/>\n\tGive high focus on people development while leading one of the biggest departments in the Supply Chain.<br \/>\n\tAct in compliance with the Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Hygiene Management System and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) \/ Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) chain of custody.<br \/>\n\tFull compliance to the Revenue Recognition policy for month-end processing.<br \/>\n\tSupport the requirements for audits with the internal and external auditors.<\/p>\n<p>Your profile:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupply Chain \/ Commercial Degree or working towards a tertiary qualification, with business background<br \/>\n\t5 \u2013 10 years of experience in a senior \/ lead customer service role<br \/>\n\t5 \u2013 10 years of experience in international trade and the management of goods flow.<br \/>\n\t5 \u2013 10 years of experience in working in Customer to Cash environment (SAP S4 Hana \u2013 Sales Order Management Insights)<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of global networks within a multi-national organization.<br \/>\n\tSupply Chain process understanding especially in a manufacturing environment.<br \/>\n\tProject management know-how.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.mondigroup.com ) or<\/p>\n<p>digroup.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/digroup.com","_company_name":"Mondi Group","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.mondigroup.com","_company_tagline":"We are Mondi: IN TOUCH EVERY DAY Mondi is an international packaging and paper Group, employing around 25,000 people across more than 30 countries.
